For professionals
Get matched with Texas landowners actively looking for exemption help.
Texas Land Tax routes landowner inquiries to the first matched professional who claims them. One lead, one exclusive consultant. No bidding, no race to the bottom, no monthly minimums.
How it works
Three steps to your first lead.
Apply
Submit a short application with your business details, counties served, and the exemption types you work on. Takes about two minutes.
Get matched
When a landowner requests help in a county and segment you serve, you receive an email with the lead details and a one-click claim link.
Grow your practice
Claim leads exclusively and reach out to the landowner directly. No other consultant is contacted about the same inquiry.

Lead pricing
Two tiers, based on how much intent the landowner already showed.
Not every form submission is equally valuable. We split leads into two tiers so you pay more when the landowner already told us their acreage, their intended use, and how much they could save.
Direct inquiry
Landowner filled out the contact form on your profile page. You get name, email, phone, and county.
Qualified match
Landowner completed the eligibility funnel or savings estimator and met the acreage threshold for your segment. You also get acres, current use, and estimated annual savings.
You only pay when you successfully claim a lead. If another consultant claims it first, you pay nothing.
What we ask of you
A few ground rules that keep the directory useful.
Claim leads actively.
When a matching lead arrives in your inbox, click the claim link as soon as you can. The first consultant to claim wins the lead exclusively.
Respond same-day.
Landowners expect a callback the day they submit. Response time is the single biggest factor in closing this kind of deal.
Keep your profile current.
Update your counties, segments, and contact info when anything changes. Stale listings hurt everyone.
Handle disputes in good faith.
If you claim a lead that turns out to be spam, a wrong number, or otherwise unreachable, flag it in your dashboard within 48 hours. We review every dispute.
Dispute policy
We credit bad leads, no questions asked within 48 hours.
Every directory eventually routes a bad lead. When that happens you flag it from your dashboard within 48 hours of claiming it, tell us briefly what went wrong, and we credit the charge before month-end billing closes.
Valid reasons include: disconnected or invalid phone number after 3 attempts, bounced email, wrong county, obvious spam submission, or duplicate of a lead you already received in the past 30 days. We do not credit "slow to respond" or "not a good fit for my rates."
FAQ
Questions we hear often.
How do I actually get paid?
You don't pay us until you claim a lead. We are not building marketplace escrow; you and the landowner handle the consulting relationship directly. Texas Land Tax charges you a per-lead fee for delivering the inquiry, and (if you subscribe) a monthly Featured fee for the priority placement.
What counties and segments are supported?
All 254 Texas counties. Segments at launch: agricultural (1-d-1), wildlife management, timber, beekeeping, environmental (pollution control), and general property tax. Conservation easement attorneys and qualified appraisers are coming in a later phase.
Can I pause lead delivery?
Yes. From your dashboard you can pause lead delivery at any time and resume when you have capacity. Paused listings stay visible in the directory but do not receive lead notifications.
What happens if no consultant claims a lead?
Leads that are not claimed within four business hours release to the admin queue. The landowner receives an email explaining we are working on a match. These leads cost you nothing.
How is this different from Angi or Thumbtack?
Three differences: leads are exclusive (not shared with 4 other pros), you pay per claimed lead instead of per bid, and the directory is Texas-specific and focused on land-based exemptions instead of every trade under the sun.
Can I cancel the Featured subscription?
Yes, anytime. Your listing drops back to the Free tier at the end of the current billing period. You keep all leads you have already claimed.
